Course Overview

The purpose of the program is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to successfully pursue a career in the field of Culinary Arts in the Hospitality industry. The Culinary Arts Diploma at Ledra College prepares the students to get into entry level positions in restaurants or hotels that will lead to supervisory/managerial positions.

 

The expected objectives for the students upon completion of this degree are to:

  • Learn the fundamentals of cooking, pastry and baking
  • Become familiar with various cuisines, cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Acquire practical skills and theoretical knowledge in food preparation, presentation and service
  • Understand and learn about organizational and leadership skills required in kitchen management
  • Improve their talent in culinary creativity and artistic skills
