English Language Entry requirements

English Language proficiency is very important for our international student community as well as for all prospective students interested in our UK qualifications.

We accept the equivalences below:

Prospective Students with no formal English language certificates can take our own Ledra ELP Entry Test and enter the necessary ELP level according to their results. Prospective students who will achieve the minimum entry requirement will not need to study our ELP course.

Upon Registration students are entitled to follow our Free English for academic purposes course including Study Skills and culture modules.

Undergraduate Admission

  • High School Leaving Certificate

or

  • 4 IGCSEs and relative foundation year

or

  • 3 “A” Levels in relative subjects
  • IELTS certificate or relative
    • 4.5 overall for foundation entry
    • 6.0 for degree entry
    • Students with no English certificates can join our EAP (English for academic purposes) courses prior to joining the course

Mature Applicants & Exceptional Admissions

Prospective applicants holding High School Leaving Certificates from their countries but no further official qualifications or meeting the grades required for direct admission but with relevant practical experience, are entitled to exceptional admission upon evaluation of their file by our admission tutors.

Graduate Admission

  • Bachelor Degree from a recognized higher education institution
    • Academic Transcripts to be presented
  • IELTS certificate or relative
    • 6.5+ overall
    • Students with no English certificates can join our EAP (English for academic purposes) courses prior to joining the course
